We are a platform fully dedicated to teaching musical improvisation, rooted in the language of jazz and Brazilian music.

Our Mission

Giants Steps was born with a clear purpose: to democratize access to high-level improvisation training. We want every musician, whether they play winds, strings, or piano, to have the tools, language, and support needed to develop their own authentic musical voice.

Our History

The Giants® Platform

Conceived a few years ago by saxophonist and educator Bob Mesquita, the Giants® Platform is the result of years of teaching experience focused on improvisation.

During this process, a passion for teaching improvisation was born, as well as a peculiar teaching method, which is the methodological pillar of all our courses.
